Human rights violations never been investigated, everywhere in Indonesia. The difference is that violations in other parts of Indonesia are covered in Indonesian media, but those in West Papua are kept under the carpets for almost a half century now.

Humanity and Human Rights here, as long as if it is done for the sake of nationality, it is regarded heroic and patriotic.

That is really why Indonesia always says, “Human Rights standards should be done according to each state’s socio-political and socio-cultural contexts.” This approach was applied in the Act of Free Choice 1969 in West Irian when the universally accepted “one-man-one-vote” was replaced by “consultation” *musyawarah* method which does not apply at the national democracy but normally only applies to village and family levels.

Saya mencoba membuat makala tentang soeharto. banyak teka-teki di dalam nya. saya lahir tahun 90an jadi saya tidak merasakan sendiri bagimana soeharto,orang disekaliling sayapun diam saat saya suruh cerita tentang soeharto,terang saja semua kakek saya dulu adalah salah satu abri orde baru. mereka sedikit banyak kagum akan soeharto tapi tidak dipungkiri dimata mereka ada 1 titik dendam,entah apa itu. saya cari2 di banyak situs tentang soeharto pun,ternyata tidak semudah yang saya kira, tidak ada data yang jelas tentang keculasan soeharto. sebenarnyaapa saja yang soeharto curi dari kita?

“December 1, 1969 referendum (Pepera) which validated the transfer of West Papua from The Netherlands to Indonesia” ?

1) No referendum has ever happen in West Papua,
“referendum: noun, pl; The right to approve or reject by popular vote a meassure passed upon by a legislature.”

2) A transfer of any colony between two nations is illegal, so the New York Agreement and the 1963 transfer were illegal.

3) The military staged “Act of Free Choice” was not an act of Self-Determination according to the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 2504

4) as members of the United Nations both Indonesia & the Netherlands are required to comply with Resolutions 1514 & 1541.

Yes, it is true, Indonesia is another name for Java, so as Indonesians and Janavese. That is the reality for all non-Javanese. But for those Javanese, Indonesia is a separate entity, nothing to do with Java or Javanese.

I have asked many Javanese about this. Most of them “feel” that they are Indonesians, and they own Indonesia, and Indonesia owns them, phyisically and politically. But mentally and spiritually, the reality is different. They feel they are Javanese.

Now, talking about Indonesia and Java inter-relationship, from the perspective of a Papuan. Yes of course, Indonesia is Javanese, Sumatrans and those from Sulawesi. Those killing us in West Papua in the name and for the sake of Indonesia are, according to the order ot killers: (1) Bataknese; (2) Molucans, (3) Buginese (Sulawesi) (4) Javanese, (5) Others. But, this order is based on raelity in operation in the field. When we come to the office, following the command order/ structure, we will find, exactly and by no mistake, Javanese, is there, sitting, smoking, laughing, enjoying, and…. giving orders.

So, to destroy Indonesia means? It means, to get rid of Javanese Empire in postmodern era.
